Construction Management/Employers Agent

Jemmy Ltd have successfully completed many prestigious projects both large and small as Construction Managers, where the Client wishes to procure subcontractors, tradesmen, materials and plant directly. Jemmy Ltd can be as involved as the client requires, as head of the construction team, organising and overseeing procurement, administration, cost control, management and co-ordination of all the works. Alternatively by offering an overview advice service to private clients enables us to bring a flexible cost effective service as and when it is required. 
Within Design & Build Contracts, where Clients need an agent who understands construction, building contracts and costs to act on their behalf, we can act as Employers Agent and ensure the project is carried out to your satisfaction.

 

 

 

Planning Supervisors
Health and Safety is one of the most important considerations on any construction project. Larger projects must be notified to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) will apply and a CDM Co-ordinator must be appointed. Not to act in accordance with the CDM regulations can be a criminal offence.

Through our associates, as CDM Co-ordinator, we will co-ordinate the health and safety aspects of the project through the design and initial planning. We will ensure that a pre-tender health and safety plan is prepared, and that designers comply with their obligations. We will monitor the Principal Contractors performance with regard to Health & Safety and ensure that a safety file is prepared and delivered on completion of the work. All of this helps to protect the client’s legal position.

Even projects that are not required to be notify to the HSE will be managed ensuring a safe working environment for everyone concerned.
